Over the years we’ve put a lot of thought into our milkshake offerings. Right now, we are happy to supply your event with the following flavours.
Baileys
Baileys Original Irish Cream liqueur was first made in Dublin in 1974. It is blended from two of Ireland’s most delicious ingredients – rich dairy cream and the finest whiskey. If you like your milkshakes creamy then this is definitely the one for you!
Kahlúa
Kahlúa originated in Veracruz, Mexico, in 1936. It is made using two of the region’s finest ingredients, sugarcane rum and 100% Arabica coffee. Believe it or not, it takes seven years to produce a bottle. Have a look at the official Kahlúa website to see why. While it is a coffee flavoured liqueur, it is not at all bitter. Instead, it is a sweet flavour, with some also saying that they can detect hints of chocolate or toffee.
Tia Maria
According to the Tia Maria website, this liqueur dates back to the mid-17th century, when a beautiful young Spanish aristocrat fled the turmoil colonial war brought to the island of Jamaica. After a long period of dormancy, the recipe was rediscovered in the 1950s. The three key ingredients are coffee, Madagascan vanilla and Jamaican rum. Tia Maria has a stronger flavour than Kahlúa, with more emphasis on the coffee and rum flavours.
Amarula
Amarula is the youngster in the menu, originating in South African in 1983. It is made from the Marula fruit, which is irresistible to African elephants. The animals are drawn to the scent and will travel miles to get a taste. It is said that eating the fruit makes them a little tipsy! While this liqueur is creamy like Baileys, it also has a slightly fruity character.
Boring technical stuff…
The milkshakes contain a maximum of half a unit of alcohol each, depending on the size of the glass.
We also do non-alcoholic options for those that don’t fancy an alcoholic milkshake.
Please note… We are not licensed to sell alcohol directly to the public, but we can sell to a license holder and then serve the public. We are currently looking into whether it would benefit us to hold our own license. If you would be interested in having us serve at your event or party and there is no license holder, please get in touch and let us know. If there is enough demand we will obtain a license.
