It all started at the Fishes pub in Botley with my friend Paul… When I discovered that the chef was from South Africa. I decided to order something, not on the menu. I asked if he would make me a Dom Pedro. He was kind enough to oblige. It was a fantastic and brought back memories of home. Paul couldn’t understand why we didn’t have them over here… And so the idea was born. At first I made them for my friends’ parties, adapting the traditional recipe to give it my own little twist… That was my springboard. Before I knew it, I had branched out and started supplying the Oxford college balls. They seemed to like them quite a bit… Okay, a lot! Next I would like to branch out into weddings and corporate events.
